A VET’S practice has relaunched its Christmas appeal to help homeless animals.

Springbank Veterinary Surgery in Prescot is accepting donations of food, bedding, treats, toys and pet accessories at their premises at 137 Scotchbarn Lane, Prescot, just round the corner from Whiston Hospital.

Items can be dropped off between 8.30 am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday or Saturday from 8.30am until noon.

All donated items will be delivered directly to the animal charities Carla Lane Animals in Need, Cats Protection and the Dogs Trust.

Also the surgery accepts donations for Carla Lane Animals in Need all year round.
