VISITORS to the waste recycling site at Earlestown got an early Christmas treat courtesy of the staff who keep things flowing smoothly at the Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority facility.

The team took the recycling theme to heart and using discarded items dropped off at the Junction Lane site created a brilliant Santa’s grotto which put a smile on the faces of facility users who contacted the Star to make sure the staff’s effort to create some festive fun was recognised.

Pictured alongside their handiwork are workers Barry Hnidoj, Ray Radcliffe, Mark Bradshaw and Brian Leyland.
