Road closed after serious traffic accident
A SERIOUS accident has closed Newton Road in both ways affecting traffic heading into Newton-le-Willows.
The incident occurred between Winwick Lane and Stone Cross Lane South. Lowton Road is also closed.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
