A RAINHILL man is among six people charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to cause explosions at cash machines around the country.

It follows a series of raids by police yesterday, including one at an address in Newton-le-Willows.

Kurt Beddoes, 31, of Hanford Avenue, Orrell Park

Ian Ellis, 29, of Warrington Road, Rainhill

Craig Cartwright, 39, of Vinecote Road, Coventry

Anthony Bushell, 29, of no fixed address

Gary Keating, 29, of The Mews, Dannette Hey, Stockbridge Village

Thomas Whittingham, 27, of Broughton Hall Road, West Derby.

They will appear at Liverpool City Magistrates Court tomorrow (Thursday, December 12).

The charges relate to a series of attacks on cash machines across the North West, the Midlands, Leicestershire and Oxfordshire,  throughout 2013.
