Man on double murder charge after Knowsley Village deaths
A MAN has appeared in court accused of murdering his partner and daughter at an address in Knowsley Village.
William Owen, 55, of Home Farm Road, Knowsley Village, was charged by police with murdering 55-year-old Sharon Hayter and 29-year-old Stephanie Owen, on Thursday.
He appeared at Liverpool magistrates’ court on Saturday and was remanded in custody ahead of a further hearing this week.
Merseyside Police confirmed that post mortems concluded both women died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head.
