CANCER battler Steve Prescott has been inundated with kind offers after bikes belonging to his two sons were stolen from his St Helens home.
Steve, 39, who is undergoing specialist treatment at an Oxford Hospital turned to Twitter at the weekend to vent his anger.
Bikes belonging to Koby and Taylor were stolen from the family’s shed.
Steve wrote: “Love being stuck in hospital! Especially when you find out someone has broke into your shed, stolen the kids bikes #kidsgutted.”
It led to an avalanche of offers of goodwill from his friends and supporters.
A spokesman for Steve’s Foundation said: “The family have been inundated with generous offers to replace the bikes but they are sorted and would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and generosity.”
