6:00am Friday 11th October 2013 in News
A COMMUNITY campaign to develop a “cycling culture” across the borough has led to an addition to the network of bike hubs.
The new base, at Bold Miners Neighbourhood Centre, is part of ‘Pedal St Helens’.
It joins existing facilities at Fourways Children’s Centre and Sankey Valley Heritage Visitor Centre.
As well as providing a starting point for free organised bike rides, the hubs act as a central point for cycle skills and maintenance training They also offer information on using a bicycle for regular transport.
