Three held in connection with cash machine thefts

POLICE have confirm three people have been arrested on Merseyside in connection with the wider investigation into cash machine thefts.
Detectives say a 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of money laundering on Thursday night .
He was also wanted on warrant for a theft offence in Scotland. He has now been transferred to Scotland for questioning.
Two men, aged 21 and 26, were also arrested on Friday morning on suspicion of being involved with burglaries involving ATMs in Scotland.
Both remain in police custody in Merseyside.
If follows an investigation into a succession of thefts from cash machines across the country, which have involved the holes-in-the-wall being blasted open.
A machine in Prescot was hit last month.
