TOUGH Mudders will go through hell and high water to support the Steve Prescott Foundation.
Lifelong Saints fan Sian Rigby will be joined by Sally Ann Smith and Tracey Ball to tackle a strength-sapping 12 mile long obstacle course on Saturday.
The girls expect it will take them three to four hours to complete the Tough Mudders course which features 28 challenging obstacles set out on the Cholmondeley Estate near Malpas, Cheshire.
“As we run round the course we expect to get electric shocks and we will have to climb walls and jump into a pit full of mud and ice,” said Sian, from Sutton, who runs a Zumba class and recently staged a Zumbathon in aid of the Foundation that raised £1,200.
Sherdley Primary teaching assistant Tracey and Islands Brow business and marketing manager Sally Ann are members of Sian’s class and decided to help her support a worthy cause.
The trio will have to run around carrying logs and stride through cow dung, nettles and fire.
So far they have been backed to the tune of £1,034 for taking up the challenge and if you would like to support them visit justgiving.com/preccys-mudders or text 70070 with code PRMU99 £ and the amount they wish to sponso
