Fire Tree farmers' market should be a real hoot
8:00am Friday 20th September 2013 in News
DON’T miss Fir Tree Farm Farmer’s Market this Saturday when you can enjoy the best local produce the north west has to offer.
Selling Shirley’s Pies, Julie’s home-baked cakes and Forster’s Organic Meat, the market is always a hive of activity on the third Saturday of every month.
Visitors will be treated to a free guided tour of the farm and a woodland walk, where they will meet the farm’s livestock and explore its beautiful autumn flora.
They will also be able to catch a glimpse of Fir Tree’s family of barn owl chicks, which are nestled in a corner of the old barn and are being monitored by CCTV cameras.
The market takes place at the farm in King’s Moss, Crank, St Helens. Admission and car parking are free.
For more information, contact the farm on 01744 894 959.
