Three arrests as police step up war on St Helens drugs gangs

THREE people have been arrested and large quantity of suspected cocaine, heroin and cannabis seized during week-long crackdown on drugs gangs.
One hundred wraps of white powder (believed to be heroin) and 50 bags of white powder (believed to be cocaine) were found in an alleyway in Parr on Monday.
A man was later arrested in Parr Stocks Road in connection with the drugs find.
Meanwhile, a man arrested in connection with the discovery of 40 cannabis plants at a house in Sutton Heath Road.
A woman was arrested after white powder was found at a house in Brookway Lane, Parr.
