Police appeal for missing prescription drugs

MERSEYSIDE Police is appealing for the return of prescription drugs that were lost by a patient who was being admitted to Whiston Hospital, Warrington Road.
The medication was misplaced on Sunday, March 17 and is described as 40, 20MG tablets and 40, 5MG tablets of Oxycontin.
Oxycontin can be fatal if taken by someone it is not prescribed for.
Anyone who comes across these prescription drugs is asked hand them in to their nearest police station, pharmacy or health centre immediately.
Call the non-emergency number 101 to report finding these drugs or for further advice on what to do.
