8:00am Saturday 16th March 2013 in News
IT’S every girl’s wish to be a Prom Queen.. and after the success of last year’s inaugural contest, Tyrers are giving you the chance to live the dream.
And Ali Tyrer is offering one very lucky young lady the opportunity to win a drop dead gorgeous prize of an elegant prom dress, shoes, makeover and a stylish handbag.
She is hunting for one special local girl with all the right qualities to become Tyrers Prom Queen 2013.
This is where you come in.
We want classmates at all St Helens high schools, sixth form colleges and academies to nominate the student who in your view should win this stunning prize.
If you know someone in your class or year at school who embodies everything a good Prom Queen should, you can enter them for the competition by filling in the form on this page or posting on Facebook at Tyrers – Perfectly Prom Queen.
Managing Director Ali told the Star: I believe our Prom Queen will deserve to win because she will have some great qualities – bravery, kindness, a positive outlook and a great sense of humour.”
Ali has continued in her style mission making big changes to the Bridge Street store, transforming it into a real destination for fashion fans with dazzling clothes, top range accessories, big heels, slinky lingerie and hair and makeover packages.
Eight local Year 11 students popped into Tyrers for the launch of the new Proms collection.
Ali said: “All of the girls were just lovely and represented their schools perfectly, I felt really proud of them and enjoyed spending time with them all.
“I think that they all enjoyed a day of pampering and loved their moment in front of the camera! We gave each of them a goody bag to take home as a memento too “All of them had their hair done in the hair studio and their makeup done in the cosmetic department. Each of them chose a dress to wear and was then photographed by Kate Potter of Wasp Photography.”
So come on girls, get those names rolling in for the quest to find Tyrers’ Prom Queen 2012.
