St Helens Star Wedding Show is a real winner

MORE than 100 brides-to-be enjoyed a sensational wedding show staged by your St Helens Star at Saints’ Langtree Park stadium.
Arranged by the Star’s promotions team, the event featured more than 30 exhibitors showing menswear, bridalwear and children’s wear. There were also exhibitors who stage hen parties and car hire companies.
Many of those planning their big day flocked to the show with a full entourage of family and friends to help them make those crucial decisions.
It was free entry to the event and the Star team were on hand to dish out goodie bags, while Cheshire Sparkle Art impressed youngsters with free sparkly tattoos.
Saints had set up special rooms so the ladies could view how their wedding could look along with a little help from Boc Boc florists, wedding venue dressing company Sapphires and bespoke cake company Sugar Perfection.
Entertainment on the day was provided by Gary C, Giles Miller and Matt Philips.
The bridal catwalk was set up by Occasions Bridal of St Helens and Tina the proprietor and the volunteer models were showed off bridal, bridesmaid, prom, mother of the bride and groom and flower girl outfits.
Some of the models’ hair was styled by Hair Charm Salon 44 of Haresfinch who are celebrating 40 years in business.
Music for the catwalk was provided by Unit One Entertainments who were represented with DJ Dave Bradley also of To have and To hold Wedding Directory and toastmaster Malcolm Kindon helped make the day flow smoothly.
The Star’s next wedding show at Saints is on October 6 and stands are already booking fast.
