New NHS body to hold first public meeting
NHS St Helens Clinical Commissioning Group will be holding their first governing body meeting in public since becoming an official organisation.
The meeting, on Thursday, March 21 will be held at St Helens Chamber of Commerce from 1pm and all member practices, staff and public are invited to attend.
Dr Steve Cox, Clinical Accountable Officer of NHS St Helens CCG said: “This is our first Governing Body meeting to be held in public since we received the green light from the NHS Commissioning Board.
“We want to ensure that as we move forward local people and practices are aware of the work we do.”
Bill Guest, Lay Chair said: “It is important that we are accountable to and engaged with the people of St Helens and we encourage local people to join us.”
