St Helens town centre to host continental market
9:48am Monday 11th March 2013 in News
TRADERS from across Europe will arrive in St Helens this week as Church Square welcomes a continental market (Thursday, March 14 to Saturday, March 16).
Stalls will be selling foods such as sun-ripened Italian olives, authentic Spanish paella, biscuits from Brittany and German sausages fresh from the grill.
There will also be a range of ornaments and clothing on sale.
St Helens Council, which organises the event, hopes it will attract more shoppers to the town centre.

I agree I quite like these markets , but they are very pricey. I guess they have to be dear to cover the costs of the pitch?

Amazing that Frankie, that you know what every single holiday maker has to eat abroad , do you go along with them or did you conduct a survey haha !

So nobody goes abroad and tries the local cuisine? Not once ever anywhere??
Amazes me how British people visit a Continental Market yet when they go abroad for a holiday most of them want Fish & Chips all day and English breakfast in the morning.
Happy now.
