Homes plans for salvage yard in Newton-le-Willows
1:38pm Wednesday 6th March 2013 in News
A DEVELOPER wants to demolish buildings on a vehicle salvage yard and build 37 new homes.
Waine Homes has submitted a planning application to create the housing development at the site of McFall Salvage Co Ltd, Southworth Road, Newton-le-Willows.
The proposals – a joint application by McFall and Waine Homes - would result in the company’s buildings being knocked down and its depot being redeveloped.
A planning application drawn up by Sedgwick Associates states that the family run business is to cease trading.
