Man mugged by three thugs as he walked home from night out

A 20-YEAR-OLD man had his watch, phone and wallet stolen by three thugs who attacked him in an early morning mugging, it has emerged.
The victim was walking home along Haydock Lane, Haydock following a night out when one of the men punched him.
He managed to scramble away from the three men but later realised his possessions – including a silver and gold Citizen Eco Drive watch – had been taken.
Police say he has been left badly shaken by the ordeal.
DC Neil Henry, said: “This was a nasty and unprovoked attack.”
The robbers are described as white men, aged between 20 and 30 years old. They were wearing black tracksuits.
The mugging happened between 4am and 5am on Sunday, February 17.
