A BUMPER baking bonanza will test cake-making skills while bringing the community together and raising money for several charities.
The charity bake sale takes place on Saturday (March 2) at Broadoak Manor nursing home on Mulcrow Close in Parr.
The event will raise cash for the home’s resident and activity fund and other local charities. There will be several baking categories and a guess the weight competition.
The charities to benefit from the fundraiser include The Honey Rose Foundation, Willowbrook Hospice, Cat Rescue and British Heart Foundation.
There are spaces available if other charities are interested.
