Curfew for guitar thief

A THIEF who stole two electric guitars and an amplifier has been handed a suspected jail sentence and placed under curfew for 18 weeks.

Graham Dixon pinched the equipment, worth £340, from a property on Lyon Close, St Helens last July.

The 42-year-old was sentenced to six weeks in prison, suspended for a year and fined a total of £610, £260 of which must go towards his victim.
