Runners enjoying last year's event
THE number of entrants for the GPW Recruitment St Helens 10K will set a new record – after 1,250 runners signed up.
That figure is expected to climb again, with the deadline for entries set for this weekend.
A sign up event will be held at Tesco on Chalon Way between 10.30am and 2pm this Saturday. Online entries on the St Helens 10K website will close on Sunday, March 3 at 6pm.
Meanwhile, 120 children have also signed up for the junior race.
The run, now in its third year, starts and finishes at Langtree Park on Sunday, March 10.
