Prison for meat shoplifter

A SERIAL shoplifter has been jailed after stealing bacon from a supermarket.
Nicola Eden, 32, stole ten packets of the meat from Iceland earlier this month.
Eden, of Station Road, Haydock, was jailed for three weeks after admitting the offence when she faced St Helens Magistrates’ Court.
Court records state the offence was aggravated by her record for previous offending.
