ONE lucky youngster is going to wave a ‘magic wand’ at a special night of music themed around Harry Potter And The Pirates Of The Caribbean... and meet Saints mascot Boots into the bargain!

A crew of musical wizards will be hoisting the Jolly Roger at St Helens Theatre Royal early next month when St Helens Sinfonietta stage this concert with a difference.

And your Star is teaming up with the Sinfonietta to offer one youngster the chance to conduct the orchestra... not a bad , Meet Harry Potter And The Pirates Of The Caribbean will be performed on Sunday, March 3 at 2pm and has been put together so it will appeal to the whole family.

As well as listening to beautiful music the audience will learn about various instruments and their importance in certain pieces.

There will be items by Tchaikovsky, Bizet, Faure, Dvorak and others performed by the orchestra with informative and entertaining interactive items for the audience, when the audience will be invited to join in.

Some of the participating items include Harry Potter, and Chariots of Fire.

There will be a quiz in each half and the whole proceedings will end with an audience Singalong of When the Saints Go Marching In when Saints mascot Boots will be making a special appearance.
