MEN who stole almost £700 worth of clothes and handbags from TK Maxx have been given community orders.
The Widnes men, Thomas William Lovelady, 45, from Hambleton Close and Kevin McAuley, 41, from Eversley, pleaded guilty at St Helens Magistrates Court.
Lovelady stole £449 worth of items and McAuley took £230 from the store on St Helens Retail Park on December 16.
They have been electronically tagged and placed under curfew for six weeks.
Both were fined £145.

Both were fined £145, to be deducted from their benefits.
