Parking fears halt salon expansion

PLANS to expand a beauty salon have been rejected because of concerns it could lead to parking congestion.

Beauty by Helen French had wanted to convert a two-bedroom flat above the existing salon at 84A Kiln Lane, Eccleston.

However, St Helens Council refused planning permission, saying it would lead to an “unreasonable amount” of cars parked near to the junction of Kiln Lane and Coronation Road.
