Weathermen says there's more snow on the way for St Helens on Wednesday Weathermen says there's more snow on the way for St Helens on Wednesday

FORECASTERS are predicting that more heavy snow looks set to hit St Helens tomorrow (Wednesday, Feb 13) in the early afternoon.

As a rain system moves in, it will bump into much colder air and readily fall as snow, becoming heavy for a few hours from around 1pm before turning to sleet.

The outlook for the rest of the week is for an improving picture when temperatures will move back up to the seasonal average of around 8.
