Newton-le-Willows Gardeners Association's guest knows his onions

DAVID Metcalfe has a way with vegetables, and will be sharing his growing tips with gardening fans this month.
David is guest speaker at the first meeting of the year for Newton-le-Willows Gardeners Association on Thursday, February 28 at 7.30pm in Newton Sports (& Cricket) Club on Crow Lane East.
David, a member of the National Vegetable Society, will give a talk entitled Vegetables: My Way.
There will also be a raffle and all are welcome to attend, whether members of the association or not. There is no admission charge.
