IT’S National Libraries Day on Saturday and one St Helens resident could walk away with a goodie bag packed with books, including signed copies.

Everyone joining the library on the day and borrowing an item will be entered into a prize draw to win the bumper bundle of books.

Residents are being encouraged to bring family members, friends, neighbours or colleagues to join the library – which is completely free.
