15-year-old boy and 24-year-old man arrested in connection with shooting incident at Derbyshire Hill in Parr

A 15-YEAR-old boy and 24-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and criminal damage after shots were fired at a house.
Police were called to an incident on Derbyshire Hill Road, Parr at around 8.30pm on Wednesday (January 30).
A cordon was in place for several hours as officers carried out forensic examinations at the scene and carried out house to house enquiries. Patrols have also been stepped up in the area. No one was hurt, but there was damage to the house.
Derbyshire Hill has been the focus of a simmering feud between rival traveller families. Neighbours have spoken to the Star of their anger and despair over the ongoing violence.
Both, who are from St Helens have been bailed pending further enquiries.
