CCTV appeal follows assault at Watchmaker pub, Prescot

POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man detectives want to trace to in connection with a double assault at a pub.
It follows an incident at the Watchmaker pub on Eccleston Street, Prescot during which a 29-year-old woman and 28-year-old man were attacked.
Although not seriously injured, both victims have been left very shaken following the incident.
The offender is described as being white, aged in his 40s, of a stocky build. He was wearing a light coloured v-necked pullover with a light coloured collared shirt underneath.
A police spokesman said: “Officers would like to speak to the man pictured or anyone who recognises him as they believe he may have information that could assist them with their investigation.”
