Fire crews rescue man from St Helens Cental rail station lift

A MAN in his 50s was trapped in a lift in a train station for more than half an hour, before firefighters could rescue him.
A crew from Parr Stocks was called to St Helens Central on Shaw Street at around 9.27am on Saturday (January 19).
He was eventually released unharmed just after 10am.
