The band of sleet and snow will unfortunately be without their lead singer. This is due to more cuts by the all consuming Rimmer and the rest of the dirge at St Helens Cancel, sorry, Council.

Heavy snow? For us that means approximately 3mm and we'll be snowed in, and our lovely neighbours will have all the grit off for their own paths so we won't be able to get our cars up th'hill. Might as well just go park at work now(!)

I hope we don't get more than 2 inches of snow or we can kiss goodbye to bin emptying for the next 3 weeks if previous snow is anything to go by.

Oh look, another snow forecast, which has mysteriously changed today (to basically just a dusting). I won't hold my breath for this snowfall but just in case for once the forecasters were right the first time I will pack my spade, wellies and blanket in the car tomorrow!

Heavy snow? Remember when we were kids and we got heavy snow where we could build snowmen and make snowballs and the snow came halfway up your long boots? Now that was snow. Since when did 3-7 mm of snow become classed as "heavy"????
