AFTER enjoying roaring success at the London Olympics this summer, cycling superstar Victoria Pendleton took a trip to Knowsley Safari Park last month to meet a very special namesake.

Victoria The Lion Cub was born in June last year and, along with her sister Jessica, was named in tribute to Team GB’s Olympic heroes.

So Olympic gold medalist Victoria was delighted when she visited the 550-acre safari drive and stopped to see the lion cubs relaxing in the grounds.

Last month the 32-year-old revealed she is starting to feel more broody since she has retired from professional cycling, raising questions as to if there’ll be any more little Victorias soon.
