GOT a question for the council?
Star readers will again have the opportunity to ask a question at the next meeting of St Helens Council which takes place at 6.15 pm on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in the Council Chamber at the Town Hall.
Time will be set aside at the beginning of the meeting for public question time and the hearing of deputations from the public.
The question and deputation must be concerned with matters relating specifically to the function of the council which affect the borough, part of it or the population in a local area.
They should not relate to any personal or individual matter.
If you wish to ask a question or submit a deputation you should contact Joanne Griffiths, Democratic Services Manager for more details on 01744 673219 or e-mail your question to joannegriffiths@sthelens.gov.uk.
Please include your full name, address and contact telephone number. At any one meeting no person may submit or put more than one question.
The deadline for the submission of written details is Monday, January 7 at noon.
The next meeting of the Council at which questions may be asked is due to be held on March 6, 2013

"The deadline for the submission of written details is Monday, January 7 at noon."....well done St Helens Star on your timely reporting....well done!!!!
There is no logical answer and if the question is topical it will surely be irrelevant by the time you get to ask it.
A total waste of time.
