JEWELLERY making and needlecraft are two of the classes held at Newton Community Centre.
The jewellery making group is held each Friday between 10am and noon.
Suitable for beginners and those with a little experience, each session is £5.
Nifty needlecraft classes will be each Thursday from 10am to midday, and are for those with an interest in sewing, dressmaking, knitting and crochet.
Although not tutor-led, there is someone in hand to help and give advice. Each session costs £3.50.
