Warning over car theft spree

THERE has been a surge in car thefts during the cold snap.

Thieves are striking between 7am and 9am on frosty mornings when owners are leaving unattended cars to defrost.

Council road safety experts and police in St Helens issued a warning today.

WE GET THIS EVERY TIME THE FROST COMES IF YOU LEAVE A RUNNING CAR UNATTENDED YOU DESERVE ALL THAT YOU GET. PEOPLE KNOW ITS STUPID BUT STILL DO IT.

I was out jogging early on a Saturday morning (because I am fit and hunky) and saw 4 cars on different drives doing same...
Had it not been for the fact I might have been caught by the police and told off (and being a law abiding citizen) I'd have taken each one and parked them round the nearest corner to teach the dunderheads a lesson...
