Award-winning photographer holds rail exhibition

THE changing face of railways over the past half century is captured in a special event being presented by the award-winning photographer Les Nixon.
It’s a welcome return to Newton-le-Willows for Les, who will present the second part of his ‘55 Years of Railway Photography’.
Les holds the Distinction Award of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.
The show starts at 7.30pm on Thursday, December 13 in the meeting room of the Pied Bull Hotel, High Street, Newton-le-Willows.
There is no charge for the evening, but the organisers, the local branch of the Locomotive Club of Great Britain, say a £2 donation would be appreciated.
