THE launch of Andy Reid’s autobiography ‘Standing Tall’ will take place at Langtree Park, it has been confirmed.

The date of the event has been brought forward one day to Friday, February 1 because Saints opening fixture with Huddersfield has been scheduled for the Saturday evening.

Andy, a former corporal served for 15 years with 3rd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, lost both legs and an arm during an explosion in Afghanistan during 2009.

He will give a reading from the book at the dinner, where celebrity guests are expected to include the Hairy Bikers and GMTV presenter Lorraine Kelly.

There will also be a drinks reception, four-course meal and a live acoustic set from Sound of Guns.

Guests will also receive a signed hardback copy of Standing Tall.

Tickets are priced £60 per person or £500 for a table of 10.
