RAINHILL Model Railway Club is holding its annual Christmas show from 10am to 5pm this Saturday.

The popular annual event at Rainhill Village Hall regularly attracts hundreds through the doors and is designed to be more of a family-themed event as opposed to the club’s main annual two day exhibition which is more enthusiast based and is taking place at the same venue between March 2 and 3 next year.

This year’s event will have at least eight layouts on show covering all the popular gauges from ‘N’ to ‘Gauge 1’ scale.

The club will also have model experts on hand to share their expertise and a shop offering train-related items for sale.

Admission prices are £2.00 for adults and £2.50 for children (which includes a visit to Santa and a gift).

There will also be refreshments and the venue has full disabled access. For more visit rainhillmrc.org.uk.
