LAST year nearly 4,000 local people celebrated the lives of their loved ones in the Willowbrook Tree of Lights Campaign.

This year it has a new name... The Celebration of Lights... but with your help it promises to be as successful as ever this festive season.

Christmas is a time when we think about our family and friends, past and present. Willowbrook’s Celebration of Lights is a celebration of their lives and a time to remember.

Your donation helps Willowbrook Hospice continue providing its crucial specialist care to local people with life-limiting illnesses.

A small donation of just £5 will provide one minute of care to patients. For each donation you will receive a Celebration of Lights card and a voucher for a badge to celebrate the life of your loved one and their names will be entered into the Book of Honour.

This year, church services will be held at: Prescot Parish Church, Prescot, Monday 10th December at 7.30pm Church of the Holy Spirit, Dovecot, Tuesday, December 11 at 7.30pm St Mary’s Lowe House, St Helens, Wednesday, December 12, at 7.30pm

The Celebration of Lights will be lit at special Services of Words and Music, with readings, poems, carols played by Parr Brass Band and solos by Lynn Jones.

The Book of Honour will be on display at all of the church services and at Willowbrook Hospice from Monday, December 17.

Forms are available from the hospice office at 54/56 Claughton Street, St Helens and can also be downloaded from the hospice website on willowbrook.org.uk
