NEWTON’S very own Olivia Archbold wowed crowds with a rooftop performance at Liverpool ONE’s glitzy Christmas launch.

Singer Olivia, who has made her name in Britain's Got Talent, performed in front of thousands of people for Liverpool ONE’s All That Sparkles.

This year Liverpool ONE broke from tradition and hosted a one-night-only festive spectacular with musical performances, entertainment, live ice sculpture and real penguins to launch Christmas in the city.

Liverpool ONE and surrounding areas came alive, and visitors witnessed the unexpected where even the rooftops, balconies and bridges hosted a showcase of yuletide cheer.

Donna Howitt, marketing director at Liverpool ONE said: “This year we gave our visitors something different from the traditional light switch-on. Olivia Archbold really helped to get everyone into the Christmas mood.”
