M6 blocked after trailer full of livestock overturns

THE M6 is blocked both ways, with traffic backed up to Newton-le-Willows after a trailer containing livestock overturned.
The incident happened between J25 A49 (Bryn) and J26 M58 at the Orrell Interchange.
Traffic is very slow moving and the speed limit is set to 40mph.
The road is blocked while the trailer is removed.
