FORMER Saints skipper Paul Sculthorpe is backing a £5,000 giveaway by one of the town’s top fashion retailers.

OD’s Designer Clothing in St Helens has already attracted than 50 photographic entries for a special competition featured in the Star that celebrates the store’s 20th anniversary.

Ten winners will each scoop £500 worth of OD’s Designer Clothing vouchers.

Entrants need to show a touch of imagination to be in with a chance.

They need to download the OD’s logo from the website odsdesignerclothing.com, print it off and be photographed holding it in the funniest, weirdest or cutest place possible.

As our snap shows, Sculthorpe, who has a commercial role at Saints these days, chose the club’s Langtree Park.

Entrants could even strike lucky by getting a sports star or celebrity to join them in the photo.

The Cotham Street-based store likely is encouraging holidaymakers to take the logo with them get photographed in tourist attractions or interesting locations.

Store owner Chris O’Dea said: “We’ve had lots of pictures coming in, including some quite funny ones.

“A couple who were travelling to Paris have taken one with them and I got a call from a mate who is holidaying in Las Vegas who had just downloaded the logo.

“There’s lots of local footballers and rugby players saying they will enter so it should really take off.”

Winners will be selected based on the most eye-catching and exciting photos.

Full terms and conditions for the competition are available on the website at odsdesignerclothing.com.
