I have just come back from the christmas lights switch on and was really looking forward to the "Lights Switch On & Special Effects Show" which i thought would have been hard to beat after last years amazing show......well, i wish i never bothered, not a smudge on last years, just a few big flames in front of the town hall and a stupid amount of paper snowflakes being spat everywhere, i couldnt believe the amount of people i actually heard saying the same as me "what, is that it?".....total let down for St Helens, should have just stayed at home :-(
