Lighting up the sky above St Marks

ST MARK’S Church in Haydock is inviting the community to its fireworks display this Saturday.
Last year about 1,200 people attended the event.
This year’s event will be held at St Marks Centre in Park Street, Haydock, with doors opening at 6.30pm, and the fireworks display at 7.15pm.
Ricky Wood, event organiser, said: “This event has become a popular attraction for residents of Haydock. With a bigger firework display planned this year I am looking forward to another successful evening.”
There will be food and drink on sale and free children’s activities.
Tickets will be on sale on the night. Prices are £3 for adults, £1.50 for children or £7 for a family – up to two adults and two children.
