Pole theft curfew

A THIEF who stole two metal poles worth £2,000 from St Helens Council has been placed under a curfew.

Brian Gill, 40, of Morgan Street, Parr, pleaded guilty to taking the metal from Chalon Way on Sept 24.

St Helens Magistrates’ Court ordered that he must be under curfew for six weeks.

He must be indoors at his home address between 7pm and 7am on each day until November 29.
