Collision blocks carriageway

DRIVERS are being urged to avoid a stretch of St Helens Link Road after a traffic collision between two cars just before 8am.
The incident happened at the roundabout close to the Park Inn Hotel and the entrance to Ravenhead Retail Park.
It is understood that a child was in the rear of one of the vehicles, which was spun around in the carriageway.
There are no reports of any injuries. More details to follow…
