Memorial concert for Richard

THE United Singers Choir is presenting a concert in memory of their first accompanist, Richard Alan Jones.

Entitled Remembrance, it will be held at Toll Bar United Reformed Church in Freckleton Road, on Thursday, November 8, at 7.30pm.

The programme includes several of Alan’s favourite songs plus choral works, and will feature the Lyndale Songsters, soprano Lynn Jones and tenor Terry Follin.

Tickets are £5, inclusive of refreshments, with proceeds to Keswick Mountain Rescue Team, (Alan’s charity). Details from 01744 818288.
