A PROLIFIC shoplifter has been jailed after stealing from a store just two days after being given a suspended sentence.
Grant Jackson, 24, of Salisbury House, Phoenix Brow, stole £125 worth of clothing from Marks and Spencer on September 27.
St Helens Magistrates’ Court heard that two days earlier he had been handed a suspended prison sentence for four counts of theft committed over the summer.
He was also serving a sentence for carrying a stick containing broken glass, which was deemed to be an offensive weapon, in Liverpool.
He was jailed for 14 weeks.
