POLICE have issued a warning to members of the public following the loss of a large quantity of prescription drugs in St Helens yesterday.

The medication was reported as lost at about 6pm on (Tuesday, October 23).

It is understood that the medication was lost at some point yesterday morning while the owner travelled on the number 10 bus, whihc runs between St Helens and Liverpool.

The drugs are in a paper bag which is inside a white Iceland carrier bag.

The medication consists of:

  • 35 tablets of Risterdone
  • A 400ml bottle of liquid Stelazine
  • 14 Zopaclone tablets 14 Venlafaxine tablets
  • 28 (30mg) Dihydrocodeine tablets

If you have found the lost medication contact Merseyside Police on 101, or hand the medication in to your nearest police station.

The drugs can also be handed in to your nearest chemist.

A police statement read: "Merseyside Police would like to remind members of the public that the taking of medication prescribed for another person could be dangerous, and in some cases fatal."

when i collect mine they are made secure, like my wallet ..lol.. if someone honest finds them though they will know who they belong to..downside is, they could fall into the wrong hands who will then know their address

I don't understand what they mean by comment . 'a verbal or written remark expressing an opinion or reaction' is the dictionary definition yet that doesn't seem to apply here. You express your opinion as asked for and it gets removed because some one doesn't agree with your right to hold said opinion .

back to this topic....i just cant see how someone, with a large white iceland bag, can get up and leave it on a bus seat without a fellow pasenger saying "Hey love/mister, youve left your bag ! ! ! !

i was banned from these pages under my old name as my comments were not to the editors liking,some low life probably nicked the bag and dumped the drugs or flogged them to another low life.

Back on topic anyone on that mix of drugs is boung to be very dopey and sedated hence the lapse in memory or concentration!
